Description
I love the way the streams flow off the side of Buachaille Etiv Mor, adding a sense of awe and even an ominous feel this rugged mountainside. The heather on the moorland in front of the mountain presents a very inviting plateau, ripe for exploring the mountains which line the pass up through Glen Coe. As inviting as it looks, I would imagine you would really have to have your wits and your senses about you to approach an assent of Buachaille Etiv Mor. Come and try, you can almost here the mountain daring you. I actually took this shot on my way back down to Glasgow after exploring the more northern end of Glencoe, and wished I had more time to explore this end of this infamous Scottish landscape. Perhaps the next time I visit my homeland Ill spend some more time in this part of the highlands.
