The Forth Worth Water Gardens are a remarkable feature in their own right. Some visitors to this Texas landmark, though, may grimace at the expansive use of reinforced concrete and it is indeed an obvious relic of 70’s construction. However, for may (and including me), this is part of the attraction. These water gardens were an important feature of the 1980’s science fiction film ‘Logan’s Run’. The film, watching it in the 21st century, evokes many memories of 1980’s architecture. Therefore, this site – in all of its concrete glory – serves as a fantastic walk down memory lane for many.
