This is Fritzel�s Jazz Bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. This bar boasts all of the quaint charm you would expect of a French Quarter bar, with a cramped and small bar, a bar-tender ushering guests to infrequently available seating, an array of jazz memorabilia, and small and less than basic bathrooms out in the courtyard. The key differentiator from other Bourbon Street bars is the music. It may be (European) Jazz, but the music is of a level and quality that far outstrips anything else you may find in the more garish establishments just a few blocks down. It is truly a fantastic venue, with genuine Jazz musicians making up the house band.

Quite often, the band can be seen, 2with the distinctive Fedora�s playing out on the street during the many festivals that grace the New Orleans French Quarter.
