Artist's Description

This is a moonlit shot of the Crescent City Bridge, as it crosses the Mississippi River between New Orleans and the west bank of the river to Gretna and Old Algiers.

For some time, I had meant to get down to Algiers on the west bank to get a night time cityscape of the New Orleans skyline. However, I have to admit that I was somewhat apprehensive of the neighborhood just adjacent to the river; I didnt feel entirely safe taking an expensive camera to such a dark and secluded spot.
