Riverboat Mooring Tether metal print by Ray Devlin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This mooring line was an opportunistic shot, taken on the Algiers Ferry, just before we crossed the Mississippi River to downtown New Orleans, 2009. I did actually get into a little bit of trouble with the Master of the vessel as I ventured toward the mooring hook on the ferry. As a engineer with marine experience, this was more than a little embarrassing.
