Description

This is a view of Castle Stalker which I had not discovered up to this point in the summer of 2022. Most attempts to photograph this landmark had involved a long walk down to the shore to the direct north of the island. This vantage point was reached by negotiating a short country lane which miraculously offered some limited parking. I liked this view, because the golden coloured seaweed, strewn far and wide across the shore, seemed to offer a calm and peaceful foreground. These lazy lolling waters of Scotland are something I look forward to seeing every year, and I was so glad to be able to capture them. 2022.
