Description

For all it created a magnificent sight at sunset, the wildfires near Sedona in the summer of 2021 were highly disruptive. I’m not sure how much collateral damage was caused, but from a tourist’s perspective it meant the complete closure of the Coconino National Forest. From a photography perspective, it was very limiting, meaning I had to make do with very limited vantage points. One such vantage point was at the Sedona airport, which drew quite a crowd to witness this natural spectacle. 2021.
