Description
Who doesnt love spending time on a rocky coastline watching the waves crash ashore? It gets no better than a place such as this: on the western Atlantic coast of the Scottish Outer Hebrides. The ruthless Atlantic waves have a fearsome reputation, in this case tempered only by the gloriously coloured tourquoise waters. I eventually figured out that this place was called Borve, on the southern Isle of Harris, between Luskentyre and Leverburgh. We found this place by accident when heading south to our digs, but ending up stopping for the best pat of a hour. That hour was spent just watching the waves and taking image after image, hoping to preserve my memory of such a captivating coastline. With views of Taransay and the amazingly clear blue waters, we could've stayed here all day long. Nikon D300, Tamron 17-50mmVR @17mm, f/18, 4s exposure, ND Grad and Warm filter. Minor corrections in PS4
