Description
This is the entrance to the Coolidge Auditorium, located in the US Library of Congress, Washington DC. We did not get the chance to go inside the room, which was typical of most parts of the Capitol Building complex – but in such cases you make the most of the slim photographic opportunities. There is almost a regal atmosphere about Congress here – it’s as close as the US gets to such pomp, but these facilities are so well appointed that you can’t help but be impressed. 2019.
