I’ve visited many of these memorial / monuments in Washington DC, and have always marveled at almost every aspect. However, while the tourists are snapping shots of the subject statues, I my attention is usually grabbed by the marble columns. There are many ways to photograph the, but one of the more simple and effective ways to do it is to just point the camera up! Washington Monument. 2017.
