Artist's Description
A long exposure of Iona Abbey, the famous landmark on this, one of the outer islands in the Inner Hebrides. I like this image, because the lovely turquoise waters of the Sound of Iona are evident here, even on a particular dull and overcast day. So troublesome was the weather, that we initially had doubts as to whether the ferry would be operational. Thankfully, it was, which meant we could enjoy wandering around the Iona Abbey knowing that we would actually make it home that night! Scotland, 2018.
