Artist's Description

This is a view of the outfall of the Firth of Lora, just west of Oban in Scotlands Argyll & Bute region, on the west coast. The image was taken from Connell Bridge after 10 pm on a summer night in 2015. I had actually intended to get a shot looking back towards the bridge from a vantage point at the bottom left hand corner of the image. However, a traffic issue meant that i had to walk cross the bridge, which afforded me the opportunity to take this shot. Its funny how, what appeared to be a huge annoyance, turned out to be a golden chance to take a shot that I otherwise would not have taken.
