This is an image of the Galveston Pleasure Pier, taken on a hot summer Saturday night in 2015. I was waiting for sunset at 8.18pm, but this was about an hour early when I was practicing composition and choosing filters. I liked the way this (HDR) image turned out, aided by a 10 stop and a graduated filter to create the more ethereal look. As it turned out, the actual sunset wasnt that great, and this image probably represented the best of the pastel like colours that I would see that evening. I would say that it was a good job that I set up early to take in the evening sun on the rock jetty.

I really like the b&w version you have of this, but I think I prefer this color version just a bit more. Nicely done.
