Bent's Fort, La Junta, Colorado, 2020.This is the frontage of Old Bent’s Fort, which was a trading post on the old Santa Fe trail, near La Junta in eastern Colorado. The site itself is quite interesting, but it is a recreation and not the original structure. This concept of a facsimile of the original is something I have come across a few times on my travels in the US. Perhaps just a little disappointing that the history has been lost in terms of tangible glimpses into that past. 2020
