Description

Another view of the old art deco Conoco cafe and gas station on Route 66. This sight was in pristine condition, and a testament to whoever thought to save it. I do wonder, though, whether it brings in any kind of revenue now (it was unstaffed on our visit). If not, then it is on someone’s dime to keep it in such good condition; perhaps some conservation association. Shamrock, Texas, 2020.
