The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is Connel Bridge, which spans the Falls of Lora at the outfall of Loch Etive into the Scottish coastal region. Connel Bridge was originally a railway bridge, which is probably obvious given the heavily engineered truss structure. These days is brings the main trunk road from Fort Williams into Oban, on Scotland’s west coast. For many years, I would always stop and try and picture the Connel Bridge – I think that it has quite an aesthetic appeal given its setting on the edge of the highlands.
