Just a couple of seagulls hovering up that the daytrippers have left on Jamaica Beach State Park, on Galveston Island. What I like about this image is that it reminds me of the day�s end after a day on the beach � that peaceful time when the beach quiets down and the day trippers or holiday makers get ready for a night out, or head home. A lot of people prefer to soak up the peace and quite of the beach at this of day; it�s a solitude only interrupted by the quiet power of the ocean. Texas, 2013.
