I love taking more detailed shots of the Grand Canyon, focusing on the small details and contrasting them against more distant formations. There’s absolutely plenty of opportunity to do this in the Grand Canyon, but getting the that properly composed shot with a foreground and a complementing background can be tricky. This is example image was taken during a hike along the Hermit's Rest route. 2017
