Artist's Description

This is Horsetooth reservoir, high up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, above the town of Fort Collins. Parking outside of the designated areas is quite forbidden here, so I had to walk / jog a good way to get ito position to take this shot. It may not sound like such a big deal, but at an elevation of 5,000 ft or more, it can really take it out you! Its clear from this photo why I didnt want to stop just anyway to take the shot. The long, arrow straight, road made the perfect foreground for this hilltop reservoir.
