Artist's Description

This is taken from the peak of Ben A’An, a relatively easy ascent in the Trossachs of central Scotland. The waterbody is Loch Katrine. We climbed the peak during the Christmas break of 2019, and I can tell you that the conditions at the top were atrocious. A driving wind made any kind of photography extremely challenging. As I had decided not to lug a huge amount of equipment up here with me, I was limited to a single prime lens and no tripod. Next time I will be better prepared.
