Charleston, South Carolina is home to a US Air Force Base, and also is pretty much beneath the final approach route into the local airport. As such there are many opportunities to catch jets (old and new) descending over the historic downtown area. One thing that I noticed was that flyovers of the four-engined C-17 Globemaster aircraft were plentiful and when I did manage to capture one, it made for quite the juxtaposition of old and new. 2021
