Artist's Description

I’ve always been fascinated with this old North Carolina barn – located behind my in-laws house on Highway 268 in the rural foothills. The shape is typical of rural architectural designs in this part of the United States, and I do get a little excited when I see an example. In this image, I added a few textured touches to the image – an artful touch I would suggest, which might be in keeping with the old-timey tones that scream at me every time I pass. North Carolina, 2016.
