Description
The American highway has may great aesthetic qualities, but one of them can be brought alive in an image by using a long focal length lens. This can accentuate undulating surface, offering the illusion that the road is more uneven than it is in reality. This image, taken on Route 66 between Oatman and the Arizona state line, is an example. The rise and fall of the road gives the appearance that the road has just been draped across the desert landscape. 2021
